Copenhagen in January

The first month in Copenhagen was dark and cold. Kelly and I lived in a small apartment in Østerbro, a quiet neighborhood filled with young families. We loved the proximity to the lakes, and a longer morning commute to Dorte Mandrup’s office in Vesterbro aligned perfectly with the sunrise.

Lots of visitors in January, along with a much needed escape from the cold, made for a good opportunity to visit the Danish Design Museum, the Louisiana and the Botanical Gardens.
